Robert D. is a minor character in Cat Ghost who appears in CatGhost 5 Banana as a living banana with a face.
Description[]
Robert is a yellow banana who is very distressed by the fact that he is a banana. In CatGhost 5, his screams of "I'm a banana!" are what wake up the three main characters and make them go out into the woods to find their source.
Relationships[]
Elon[]
The only person Robert seems to know is Elon. Upon seeing her, he begins calling her name, although Elon reacts rather nervously upon being recognised. What their exact relationship is or was remains unknown.
Fate[]
While it is never directly confirmed, it is highly implied that Elon killed Robert after being left alone with him. Later in CatGhost 5, it is shown that she made pancakes, which, as Gideon notes, have slices of banana in them, suggesting that Elon cut Robert up and baked him into pancakes. Naarah and Gideon seem to be unaware of that however.

- Robert's first appearance is actually in CatGhost 4 Circle, where he can be seen in the background during a quick camera pan.
- Robert's appearance was also foreshadowed twice in Unholy Circle.
- When the game's high scores were reset, the "default" names mentioned bananas and even had the line "I'm a banana!"
- A link in the game files (informing the Cat Ghost Website that the player has won the game) has the word "banana" in its URL[1].
- One of the jars in Banana mention the name "R. Dudley", although whether this is Robert D. is unconfirmed[2].
- Robert's name is never directly mentioned, it can only be found in the credits of CatGhost 5.
- Robert was one of the people who talked to players of Happybirthday in "Live Key" Sessions, where he foreshadowed his appearance in CatGhost 5[3].
- When Elon was asked about him in CatGhost 8 Judgement, she denies his existence, simply saying, "there is no banana."
- Robert D. in a bowl is the icon for the 20$ per month donation tier "Precious Tribute" on the Cat Ghost Patreon.
